Intern Experience - Angelina

Before I started project search, I was shy and lacking confidence and experience I was doing a hair and beauty course in collage when I first started project search, I was nervous and scared because I didn’t know what’s its going to be like. In my first rotation I was working in urology department the mentors have been so helpful to me and always make me laugh and supported me all the way through my placement. I was booking appointments, prepping letters, discharging patients, updating patients addresses. In my second rotation I did prepping clinic, printing referrals, tracking notes independently. In my third rotation I am working in Juniper Ward - I am doing making packs, printing wristbands, printing referrals, printing front sheets and labels, tracking notes back to file. I have made so much progress and feel more confident in myself. I applied for a full-time Clinic Prep job at BHRUT and I got an interview and I got the job! I feel excited to started my new job and my family are really proud of me and really excited for me to start.
